Webinar | Researching Entrepreneurship in UK Rural Labour Markets

Friday, December 7, 2018 11:00 AM - 12:00 AM GMT

In this webinar, Anupriya Misra, Doctoral Researcher at the University of Essex will explore rural labour markets. Despite its importance, very little is known about the phenomenon, its drivers and its impact on the labour outcomes of young workers and on the development of rural areas. Providing a deep dive into the drivers, motivation behind entrepreneurship in rural areas and how entrepreneurship can be used as a tool to promote growth in rural areas, the webinar will cover the most cutting-edge research. The webinar will also touch upon the underpinning policies that can promote rural entrepreneurship and importance of social networking for rural entrepreneurs.
