The Centre is pleased to be exhibiting latest research at the ESRC conference, Digging into Data.

The Digging into Data Challenge, an international research grants competition sponsored by leading funding agencies from Canada, the Netherlands, the UK and the US aims to explore how ‘big data’ changes the research landscape for the social sciences and humanities. As part of the two day conference we will be exhibiting at a showcase event at Glasgow School of Art on the evening of Wednesday 27th January from 6pm-8pm.

At the showcase we will be displaying information about the Centre, our work and showcasing examples of our research including a model which predicts footfall into city centres by Professor Abdel Salhi and Liang Wang of Mathematical Sciences, Professor Vania Sena of EBS at the University of Essex.
